A quantity surveyor with over 11 years’ experience, Chris has gained management experience through an impressive career in the industry and has worked extensively in the private residential, office and process sectors.

Prior to becoming one of the directors of David White Associates, Chris worked for a Consulting Engineering practice, Birmingham City Council, and latterly for national construction companies.

A former student at Wolverhampton University and Leeds Metropolitan University, Chris is a graduate with a BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying (2.1). He has also attained a B.TEC Higher National Certificate in Civil Engineering Studies (with Merits and Distinctions), and a B.TEC Ordinary National Certificate in Civil Engineering Studies. He is currently studying for membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Chris holds a pivotal position within David White Associates and is responsible for all Social Housing involvement. He also heads the Decent Homes facility, working with Local Authorities and Contractors. Current projects include a £31m Decent Homes programme and £42m Housing PFI schemes.
